City of Pinckneyville is aggressive in its economic development efforts
and seeks assistance from both the public and private sectors. The City
is responsive to the needs of its existing businesses as well as prospective
new business and industry. The City owns 225 acres of fully improved industrial/business
development sites in our East Side Development Park which is in close proximity
to the City's largest employers; MUMS, Illinois
Department of Corrections, G.S.
METALS, and Craig
Williams Creative. Our improved sites are ready to go and attractively
priced. Pinckneyville owns its natural gas, sewer and water utility systems
and has recently invested $10 million to improve our critical infrastructure
and increase our capacities. Special industrial rates are available to business
