Parks Activities are scheduled at the City Park year around. Camp sites are available for rent as well as the exhibition hall and pavilions providing excellent facilities for a family reunion, wedding reception or rummage sale. The park is home for the Perry County Fair. The oldest continuous running fair in Illinois. The American Thresherman Association, Inc. host two shows each year at the park. They are held annually the third week-end of August and October. There are one or more camping trailer conventions held each year. There are tennis and basketball courts open all year and a swimming pool for summer enjoyment. Camping permits are available by calling the City Park Manager at 357-3557. |
