Clerk The City Clerk provides assistance concerning municipal services and other information/guidance regarding community information. The City Clerk is the point of contact for licenses, fees, permits, city council agenda and minutes. In addition, the City Clerk's office is the place to apply and pay for services for gas, water and sewage. Frances (Fran) I. Thomas has been City Clerk since 1983. She is a member of the Municipal Clerks of Illinois, International Institute of Municipal Clerks, Southwestern Illinois Municipal Clerks' Association and the Illinois Government Finance Officers Association. She is a Certified Municipal Clerk, Registered Municipal Clerk and was accepted into the International Institute Municipal Clerks Master Municipal Clerk Academy on December 31, 2003. She also serves on Pinckneyville Cemetery Board of Managers. |
